The house was originally built in 1855 as an eight-room farmhouse and later transformed into the iconic Classical style mansion we know today. Its antebellum style and fairytale atmosphere offer an elegant step back in time with all of the modern conveniences. Sophisticated, yet comfortable, Whitehall is the perfect venue for a beautiful southern wedding.
The mission of Whitehall House & Gardens is to preserve, educate and present the house as a Victorian interpretation of a Southern plantation and to maintain and develop the grounds and gardens as a green space for future generations
