Speaking of the Alberta Street area, My Dish of the Week, comes from Siam Society: Pan Seared Halibut in Green Curry topped with a red grape and mango relish. Wow! Great dish, crispy crunchy crust on the halibut, moist and perfectly cooked on the inside, placed into a bowl of terrific green curry, with bell peppers, red grapes, and mangos. It had a long finish that progressively built heat. Just great.

Siam Society , which debuted in November 2005 in the trendy Alberta Arts district. Its location -- in a chic converted power substation with a large, inviting patio complete with heat lamps and lap blankets -- and its cuisine make it a standout.
