Why go to a wedding show? Wedding shows provide the chance to meet with numerous vendors from your city and speak with them about pricing, services, and what sets them apart from other vendors. It’s a great opportunity to get a lot of research done all at once and even receive some free gifts and great savings in the process. If you already know your wedding date and have done a little research prior to going to the bridal show you can often even sign up with vendors while you’re there. Many times a vendor will give you a special “bridal show discount” if you sign up on the spot.

If you attend one of the larger bridal shows in your area, the sheer number of vendors can often be overwhelming. Don’t let it stress you out! Narrow down the types of vendors you’re looking for (i.e. DJs, photographers, florists, etc.) and grab fliers or brochures from any vendor that falls into these categories. When you get home you can sort through all the information and follow up with any vendors you’re interested in. Sometimes if you mention you saw them at the bridal show they will offer you a discount.
