Churchill Downs, which completed a $121 million renovation of its facility in 2005, offers a variety of customizable wedding packages. Options include the use of a first-class meeting or banquet room at the world-famous facility, many of which feature beautiful views of the racetrack or Louisville skyline, or an outdoor space such as the paddock or Winner’s Circle. Event managers to assist with wedding planning and preparation are also provided, as well as award-winning cuisine from Churchill’s dining provider, Levy Restaurants.
Wedding ceremonies and receptions are hosted at Churchill Downs year-round, including during the racing season, when the exciting atmosphere of live racing provides built-in entertainment for traditional reception events. Wedding parties are also welcome to explore Churchill’s picturesque grounds and enjoy the ambiance of one of the most hallowed shrines in American sport.
