Perfect Wedding Guide Joins Forces for a Just Cause  

LAKE MARY, FL-- (February 2, 2010) - PerfectWeddingGuide.com, the leading wedding planning website, is proud to announce they have joined forces with Lisa Konecny, owner of the Winter Park based wedding and event business, E-Events, and local Orlando businesses to form "Just 'Cause," an organization dedicated to providing underprivileged teenage girls in Central Florida with formal wear for school dances.

The large-scale community service project was the creation of Konecny, who asked fellow wedding planner Susan Southerland, owner of Just Marry! and national wedding planning expert for PerfectWeddingGuide.com, and Kristy Chenell of Couture Consulting by Chenell to help her broaden the scope of her endeavor.

"The Perfect Wedding Guide is all about helping brides and grooms all across the country with the process of planning a wedding, but we have an obligation to help the local community too," said Southerland. "We feel this is such a great way to help local youth with our expertise, as many wedding ideas, trends and styles are transferrable to prom and formal looks."

Just 'Cause is now in the process of collecting gently used formal dresses and bridesmaid dresses. Donated dresses will be altered with help from local seamstresses, designers and stylists to fit the needs and fashion of each girl, giving them the opportunity to attend a homecoming, prom or social celebration with style and confidence.

Several Orlando-based hotels and businesses are acting as drop-off points for dresses, including Perfect Wedding Guide's corporate office, The Portofino Bay Hotel, Write In Style's studio, Solutions Bridal Salon and Flowers of Winter Park.

Preliminary plans for an early spring event for girls to select a dress are in the works. Just 'Cause will recruit the help of Girl Scouts of Citrus Council as well as local schools and churches to spread the word of availability to those in need. They hope to expand the program to additional US cities in the near future.
