Today’s wedding blog post is dedicated to a trend we absolutely love–the beautifully elegant long table. Great for face-to-face conversation, the long table is being reintroduced to wedding receptions along with seated meals as a conversation-friendly dining option. Long tables allow for more interaction with other wedding guests, and depending on the size of your guest list is, friends and loved ones can dine together, family style. And most importantly, this seating arrangement works well with both indoor and outdoor reception venues.
Wedding blogger Christina Friedrichsen of Intimate Weddings lauded her praise for the long table as a tip for couples seeking a more intimate ambiance last March, and now the long table is popping up as one hot trend for spring 2010 brides.
