Wedding Photographers: Southern Wedding Photographers Inspiration for an Historic Washington, Louisiana Wedding Shoot

We can’t resist a heartwarming story here at the wedding blog. And this beauty is courtesy of amazing husband and wife wedding photographers, Adam + Erin Falgout of Lafayette, Louisiana (www.aefpwebsite.com/).

The couple, Slade & Chelsey, were married in Historic Downtown Washington, Louisiana on Saturday January 9th. Talk about a true romance story…Slade saved Chelsey’s life when they had just started dating by risking his own safety to pull her out of a burning vehicle after a traffic accident. He stayed by her side in the hospital and has supported her on the road to recovery ever since.

By the looks of their emotional wedding, there wasn’t a single dry eye in the house. And their reception looked like a blast with everyone eating, dancing, and drinking it up!

What a beautiful couple! Congratulations to Slade and Chelsey! What a beautiful wedding! Wedding photographers Erin & Adam Falgout are proud advertisers of Perfect Wedding Guide. Visit www.perfectweddingguide.com to find a wedding photographer your area!

Wedding Fitness: 3 Wedding Fitness Exercises to Get You Wedding Ready

By Wedding Blog Contributor, Lana Leazer

Before stepping into our gorgeous gowns for our wedding day, we women tend to search for the latest craze in wedding fitness exercises, go on crash fad diets and increase our beauty regimen. We want to look our absolute best as we are the star of the day and all eyes are on us, not to mention the tremendous pictures that will be taken. If you have chosen to wear a strapless or mermaid style gown, then we have the perfect workout routines for you. We consulted with fitness expert Jen Swendseid of (http://www.heartandcore.com) to share with us her tips on how to look picture perfect for your wedding day.

1. Single Leg Plank - Hold for 15-30 seconds then switch legs and hold for another 15-30 seconds. Make sure your back isn’t sagging and you are keeping your hips up and your abs pulled in.

2. Inverted Row with Overhand Grip – Keep your hands wide, with arms bent at a 90 degree angle, pull yourself straight up to the bar, making sure it comes to your chest line and exhale as you do so, keep your shoulders back and down at all times and don’t let your backside sag as you slowly lower your body. Make sure you don’t grip the bar too tightly so that the back is doing the majority of the work-not the biceps! Challenge: put your legs out straight-it will be tough!

3. Lunge with Back Foot on Bench – Slowly lower, making sure your front knee does not go over your ankle and stay on your heel.  Press up through your heel, exhaling, pulling your abs in, and squeezing your glutes to help with balance and stabilization.

Do you have questions or comments about these exercises? Do you have any wedding fitness regimes that you swear by? We’d love to hear it all! Leave a comment below, we love to hear from you!
