Many brides- and grooms-to-be are on the fence about having a destination wedding or not while wedding planning. However, these getaway nuptials may be the perfect venue for some couples. According to The Huffington Post, destination weddings are for those who want to stray from the traditional nuptials that can be both stressful and exciting. Brides and grooms who are looking for a calm weekend may want to get away from it all.
One great aspect of a destination wedding is that the guest list does not need to be massive. Only close friends and family can be invited, allowing for a fantastic intimate wedding. Not to mention, the bride and groom will not have to travel for their honeymoon, they will be able to get started right after the wedding!
