A wedding retailer in Loveland, Colorado, will be giving away 150 wedding dresses from now until Thanksgiving, which will make many couples' nuptials a little less expensive and take away the added stress of finding the perfect gown, according to the news channel KMGH-TV.
The Loveland Wedding Center offers everything from used, vintage and consigned gowns, all of which the owner, Diane Carpenter, has collected over the years. Carpenter got the idea to give some of those dresses away when she heard about another boutique doing the same in a different state, according to the media outlet.
"We have been so blessed and we know this is a difficult time for so many people and we just wanted to help," Carpenter told the news source.
No matter what the time of year, some bridal shops have been donating
beautiful wedding dresses for quite some time. According to the Houston Chronicle, a local bridal shop will also be giving dresses to brides who have men in the military or are in the military themselves in honor of Veteran's Day this Friday.
