A-list designers are currently revealing their wedding dresses for the upcoming season, and Elie Saab recenetly has unveiled his very first ready-to-wear bridal line for Spring 2011.
Saab, best known for his beautiful couture gowns (think Angelina at the 2009 Oscars), offers brides-to-be wedding gowns that feature lace, silk satin and tulle.
Keeping in line with current
beautiful wedding dress trends, dramatic necklines and bustiers were the focal point on the 11 different designs. Three-quarter length sleeves, a potential disaster in any other designer's hands, added an elegant and graceful touch to the confections sent down the runway.
Saab, already known for his feminine aesthetic, is sure to become a hit with wedding fashion critics and brides who demand designer labels.
The designer has made
couture wedding gowns in the past, including a Grecian asymmetrical gown with crisscrossed ruching and a sleek silhouette. The European style makes the gown an ideal
destination wedding dress for 2010.
The new ready-to-wear pieces are likely to be a hit with brides in the coming season.
The bridal show pieces were displayed at the Paris flagship store during Fashion's Night Out Paris.
