Kate Middleton's dress: sexy or modest?

It's got everyone's tongues wagging - what will Kate Middleton wear when she marries Prince William this weekend? Will she choose something modest and demure, like her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana? Or will she go for something modern and sexy that's sure to have designers scrambling to make appropriate replicas for brides everywhere? Bonnie Fuller, president and editor-in-chief of HollywoodLife.com, is hoping for the former.
Fuller writes that she's keeping her "fingers crossed that Kate Middleton follows the example of the most famous bride of all time, her mother-in-law, Diana. Diana's wedding gown, worn when she married Prince Charles at St. Paul's Cathedral on July 29, 1981, was jaw-droppingly gorgeous, completely original and also royally modest."
Fuller implores women to return to a time when wedding gowns were meant to showcase virginity and purity, rather than highlighting the bride's hot body. But if you've spent months toning up for your big day, why hide it under ruffles, lace and taffeta? We're not suggesting you show off all your goods, but we don't see why a sweetheart neckline and a sleeveless look should be eschewed - especially for a summer wedding!
Whatever Kate chooses, we just hope she's comfortable, happy and pleased with her gown. That's the most we can hope for any bride searching for the perfect dress!
