There is a great deal that goes into creating a
beautiful wedding dress, from the design process to the fabrics used. For this reason, many were extremely upset when they witnessed people spray painting wedding gowns outside of a bridal shop that was going out of business, according to MSNBC.
Priscilla of Boston, which is owned my David's Bridal, shut down last year, having its last day of business on December 30. On Friday, people were shocked at how many gowns were being destroyed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, especially because they could have been donated to brides who cannot afford them, according to the news source. The dresses were being spray painted and completely ruined while people looked on.
The store released a statement that read, "Priscilla of Boston has always donated quality bridal gowns to a variety of charitable causes. We do not, however, donate unsaleable dresses that are damaged, soiled or in otherwise poor condition"
However, women told the news channel KARE-TV that the dresses were in good condition, and in some cases, still in their boxes.
