If there's one wedding gown that the world will remember forever, it's Princess Diana's gorgeous creation. This isn't so surprising - the late British royal's nuptials were viewed by millions of people around the globe.
Now, some lucky Michigan residents will have the chance to stand a few feet away from the icon's wedding day wear. According to MLive.com, the Grand Rapids Art Museum will be featuring its new exhibition, Diana - Up Close and Personal - where her infamous gown will be on display.
"It was seen on TV by over a billion people. That's why it's the most famous dress in the world," art handler Graeme Murton told the news outlet.
The exhibition will feature 26 other dresses that the Princess of Wales was snapped wearing during her short, tragic life. However, it's safe to say her unique wedding dress will be the keystone of the exhibit.
"I remember the actual wedding, when she came out of the coach, the train just kept coming and coming and coming," Murton told the news source. "It's the longest train that's ever been at a royal wedding."
