It has definitely been a year of emerging fashion trends that have made their way into everything from
beautiful wedding dresses to everyday-wear. One of the biggest fashion trends came from the Royal Wedding, as Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen's fashion house was the designer for both Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa. Replicas have been created for both, and when Pippa's was made available late last month, it was sold out within hours.
The dress went on sale on Net-A-Porter, priced at $1,867. Its slashed price made it even more desirable, and it took only a few hours before the dress was no longer available.
The website posted a description of the elegant wedding gown, stating that it is "beautifully cut, elegant and timeless, Alexander McQueen's silk-crepe gown will make an exquisite choice for your wedding day. The signature accentuated shoulders and draped neckline are effortlessly flattering - style a clean silhouette with swept-back hair and drop earrings for radiant, understated appeal."
