It is no secret that weddings can get quite pricey, even if you are
planning a wedding on a budget. Two sisters from Burlingame, California, decided to sell their wedding dresses back after their big day. However, the process was not easy for them, so they decided that they wanted to make it easier for other recent brides, according to the Burlingame Patch.
Carla Rivera decided that she wanted to open a consignment wedding gown shop called Bridal Project, which allows brides-to-be the chance to find an elegant wedding gown for a discounted price and get some of their money back for selling the dress, according to the media outlet.
Plus, the two thought it would be fun working in a bridal shop.
"When I was shopping from my own wedding dress…everyone was happy," Rivera told the news source. "It was just such a cool experience, and we thought it must be so nice working at a wedding shop."
Brides who are thinking about selling their
beautiful wedding dresses after their special day be able to find similar stores that will make the process go smoother - and allow them to save a couple bucks, the Wishpot reports.
