A kindhearted actress from the United Kingdom is planning on donning her wedding dress for a second time, and in the name of charity.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Natalie Anderson, who just joined the popular British soap opera Emmerdale, has organized an event where women will be showing off a number of elegant wedding dresses. The funds will then be donated towards cancer research and awareness.
"The money raised at the Brides Dress Revisited Ball will go towards Cancer Research UK's vital research, helping more people survive cancer so that they too can wear that dress, marry their sweetheart, walk their daughter down the aisle, give a best man's speech or be a friend's bridesmaid," said Cancer Research UK's Nicki Embleton.
Anderson, who also appeared in the musical Wicked in London's West End, just wrapped up
planning a wedding two years ago. She is currently married to James Shepherd.
The Brides Dress Revisited Ball will also feature a wedding singer as well as a raffle and an auction
