The Alternative Miss Liverpool pageant winner this past Saturday was a creation made by Thelma Madine was sure to turn some heads. The wedding gown was made out of human hair, and weighed approximately 210 pounds, according to Metro.
The human hair was weaved together by eight people from Madine's shop, Nico, plus Madine herself. The gown, which is bright red, took 300 hours to complete, according to the media outlet.
"I'd be overwhelmed if someone like Lady Gaga would consider wearing it," Madine told the news source. "In fact, we would be more than happy for her to wear it on her next tour. It's a unique creation, just like her, and I think it would be a hair match made in heaven!"
According to Fox News, the gown, which brings very
unique wedding ideas to any nuptial, is worth $79,000 - Madine and her fellow designers used 820 feet of hair, tens of thousands wefts and hair pieces, 1,500 crystals and 12 underskirts.
