If you're looking to get married on a budget, look no further. Now you can save cash on one of the most expensive parts of the ceremony - your gown - while giving to a great cause at the same time!
Cancer Research Wales has had a novel idea to help both brides and cancer patients - the charity has opened its first Bridal Suite in Whitchurch, Cardiff, stocking worn-once bridal gowns at a fraction of their original prices. Brides who pick out a gown from the unique boutique can save a bundle while donating money to a worthwhile cause.
"As the cost of weddings soars, this is a fantastic way of saving some money without compromising on the quality of the dress," Liz Anderson, charity director, told the South Wales Echo. "At the same time, brides will be helping us fund research into potentially lifesaving new cancer treatments here in Wales."
The dresses range from high-end designer gowns to hand-me-downs and gently-worn custom-made frocks. Styles include everything from classic sheaths to modern mermaid silhouettes, one-shouldered dresses and even short A-lines. No matter what you're looking for, you can find it at this special bridal boutique for a real steal.
