Andre Leite Alves, a wedding photographer in Rochester, New York, recently announced he has gone green with a new solar batter charger C110 - and he advises other photographers to follow in his lack of carbon footprint.
The solar power battery can save tons of energy. There are 3 billion dry-cell batteries purchased each year for everything from radios to portable power tools, and more than 2.9 billion of those are thrown out each year. By using the solar batteries, it will make a couple's nuptials a perfectly green experience.
"By using alternative sources of energy, we Americans can cut down on foreign energy use while helping mother earth," said Alves.
Couples who are
planning a wedding have a few things that they must do first, one of which is to
find a wedding photographer. Additionally, brides- and grooms-to-be need to take their time finding the perfect photographer, as they will be the ones to keep the memory of the wedding alive for years and years to come. So, ensure the photographer understands what the couple wants before they hire them.
