9/10/11 most popular wedding date of the year

9/10/11 is one of the most popular wedding dates
There have been many popular wedding dates over the years, including 7/7/07 - the most popular wedding date of all time. However, 9/10/11 is also making a strong impact, as a number of couples are planning on saying "I do" this weekend, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Hilary Kissinger and Tom Connors are one of the many couples who are planning a wedding this upcoming Saturday, and even though they both found the date significant, now they aren't so sure if it was the right day to plan.

"I know at least five other couples who have the same wedding date. We have family members who can't come because they're going to another wedding," Kissinger told the news source. "Some are doing our ceremony and someone else's reception. They're making it a wedding marathon."

According to TheKnot.com, September is a popular month for many couples to say "I do," and this date is especially significant because it falls on a Saturday. Dates like these in the past - 8/9/10 fell on a Monday and 7/8/09 was on a Wednesday. Another popular date this year is 11/11/11, which falls on a Friday.
