Q Can you fade the accompaniments during the ceremony, for instance when people reach the altar?

Yes, I use a foot pedal to gently fade the accompaniments to end each Processional song elegantly at just the right time.

Q How long have you been playing cello?

26 years! It was love at first sight. It's taken me to orchestras, a music degree at UNM, into all genres of music, and now playing cello is my full-time job!

Q Do you play solo cello?

The cello is a beautiful solo instrument and I'm glad to play it this way, although the recorded accompaniments add a lot to the experience!
