I would like to reiterate the poor customer service and poor quality of video work that Christopher Kight Photographers is becoming well known for. I can assure you that this is an actual customer and not a competitor as Christopher Kight will undoubtedly claim. For someone who has been in the business so long as he claims and in a business that relies so heavily on customer service, I am shocked that this company is still in business. We recently had Christopher Kight Photographers shoot the wedding video for our wedding, and against our better judgment, choose to buy their Master Two Videographer package in order to get additional camera angles and footage of our parents’ and friends’ reactions to the speeches, introductions, and a lovely piano piece that my wife played during the reception. We were assured that the Two Videographer package was by far superior, and we would have the added benefits of seeing facial expressions and reactions of our loved ones. We were sorely disappointed. Not only did we not get to see these priceless reactions, but it truly felt like we were watching a single camera the whole time. I would have rather paid for film and a video and had a family member record the event, it was that disappointing. In addition, we had our DJ introduce our wedding party individually, and had custom introductions for each of them to come out to. This was definitely one of the highlights of the reception and every one thoroughly enjoyed their intro. Their reactions were priceless! Unfortunately for us, however, our videographer spent the majority of the introductions filming our DJ rather than our wedding party, and the only clips of the wedding party that you could see, was when they turned the corner past a wall the videographer was fixated on, after they had already reacted. After confronting Christopher Kight about my disappointment, and asking for a refund for ONLY THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE DOUBLE AND SINGLE VIDEOGRAPHER PACKAGE, he acted shocked and refused, even after I was more than reasonable by detailing my many complaints. I considered my request more than reasonable, and have never been so infuriated with such poor customer service. After such a memorable and enjoyable event, the video was something that my wife and I were extremely excited for, and it did not come close to our expectations, especially for what we paid. This is an extremely important and expensive purchase, so if only one person reads this and chooses another company, than I am happy to have at least spared a couple from such disappointing work and poor customer service, and of course, wasted money. Again, I can assure you that this is not a competitor, but an extremely dissatisfied customer, I would be more than happy to go into more specifics if requested. I look forward to discussing our experience with any of you, and the many future newlyweds that we know in the Sacramento area to prevent a similar disagreeable experience.
