Does NOT deliver
Not only do they provide you horrible CustomerService but they double book weddings that ends up compromising the quality of the wedding. They provided the wrong linens, they did not provide a wedding cake table, they did not provide the correct color linens (they provide the opposite color, such as black!), the dance floor was terrible and caused accidents, the bar tender did not display the signature drink (framed flyer) provided nor made the drink correctly, the servers neglected to serve the wedding party their food and cake- they had to be told several times to serve the wedding party (even after everyone was done eating)….. They did have good food. Even though they forgot to make and serve all that was selected and paid for as the appetizers. There were so many mistakes from the moment the guest arrived and checked into the hotel; like the rooms not being ready and available at check in time (3pm), even though we adviced them we would check in early and they assured us (when we called to confirmed if ok to check in) it would be ready. The wedding party rooms were not placed in the same floor as requested. There was so much that went wrong, I was truly disappointed. I expected normal regular service at the very minimum, and what was delivered was much less than a 5percent service. If you want quality, professionalism, and for the wedding party to be treated as they are welcomed and with a bit of a VIP service….this is NOT the place for you. The elevators were not all functioning that weekend, at one point the wedding guest (including 3 children) were stuck in the functioning elevator for about 20 minutes. Also, if you talk to the reservation line and you want a suite or a room larger than a 2full sz bed regular room, they will not provide you one as they claim that hotel does not have suites or anything larger. On a good note… My room was clean and the shower was too. I will not recommend this venue to anyone. Tampa has more options. This was simply the case of over selling,over promising, and under delivering. Oh and when I checked in on Friday and found out about the existing problems, I called the reservations supervisor (3pm) and up until this day (almost a week later), I haven’t heard back from her.
