“JB Reed is an award-winning freelance photographer based in New York City. He regularly shoots assignments for The New York Times. In 2004, JB was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to document youths living in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. In March of 2008, JB’s work was selected for exhibition as a part of Slideluck Potshow XI at the Chelsea Art Museum in New York City. Shortly thereafter, he was selected to participate in the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop for photojournalism in upstate New York. Most recently, he won two awards from the Wedding Photojournalists Association (WPJA) for his wedding photographs in the 2009 Q1 Contest.
