We rented the venue for my great niece's wedding and reception. Emilio's catered the reception with an Italian buffet. We were very happy with the venue and how everything turned out. The bride and groom loved everything. Only complaints about Emilios's were a few pieces of chicken that were not completely done and the fact that the leftovers disappeared. There were two new servers so not sure if things were accidentally thrown out or what. Overall, though, we were pleased with them too. Bill and Roxanne were helpful and I thought it was a beautiful setting. We got a lot of compliments!

I had my reception at Little Bear last fall and would highly recommend the place to any new bride. Bill and Roxanne were great to work with. They allowed us to select our own caterer. The bar package was very reasonable compared to all other places. We had such a good time there; my high school plans to hold our class reunion there next year.

Little Bear Golf Club is the best place for a wedding reception. They worked with us through the entire process and made it the most enjoyable event ever. Our guests enjoyed the large deck over-looking the lake on the golf course. The food was delicious and the service was great.

As the wedding approached, Bill became less and less helpful. He made my parents feel bad about wanting things that had already been negotiated into our contract and acted like he was put out to follow through with what we had agreed upon. The caterer was set up through him, Emilios, who was awful as well. The night did not go well as the caterer was grossly understaffed and took them almost two hours to serve all of the tables. They forgot plates and lost the list of who was to receive chicken or beef, and then approached the bride before dinner was to be served and acted like it was her fault because they had lost the list. We were promised a champange toast for the head table and had negotiated this into our price and they did not serve us champange until the toasts were over after much begging to bring out the bottles. Worst of all, Bill began cleaning up the tables and centerpieces in the middle of our reception when we were supposed to have the room until midnight. Guests felt pushed to the front of the room and it cut our evening short. We absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone, no matter how good the price is.
