HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

1.6/ 5

Minerva’s Bridal Salon is the WORST place to go for a wedding dress!! The customer service is absolute crap–they will treat you like an idiot, trust me. They don’t respect their customers AT ALL. They were totally inconsiderate and rude to me, blowing me off like they don’t need customers. Obviously, I moved my business elsewhere, because apparently they are doing just fine in these hard economic times in order to be able to treat their customers like dirt. (They assume that because you’re getting married, your IQ drops 100 points! Hah!) Oh, and they won’t let you take photos while you’re in the store either, so you’ll just have to "remember" whichever dresses you liked or else BUY IT RIGHT ON THE SPOT! Oh, and lest you think you’ll just get the style number and compare the dress somewhere else, think again–they won’t give you the style number! Don’t even waste your time here–go elsewhere and you won’t be disappointed, because everything is a step up from this joint.

Wonderful & Beautiful

Even though I bought my dress from another store….I feel the need to express how great Minerva’s is. It is full of beautiful dress and their tux side of the store was great to work with. All the boys in the wedding rented their tuxs from them and more than half of the boys were from out of town or state and Minerva’s was still able to delivery complete satisfaction!!! Thanks

Go Somewhere Else!

1.2/ 5

I bought my dress in December 2010 for an August 2011 wedding and I didn’t get my dress until July 2011. To top that off, I wound up having to do most of the calling to even get an update on the status of the arrival of my dress, despite numerous promises of updates. I had to even call to find out my dress had arrived. My company wound up relocating me to Nebraska in May 2011. This of course was before my dress had arrived. I had made travel plans for June before I found out my dress would not be arriving on time, as promised. I told the consultant, and others, many times that I had relocated and that my time in Orlando would be limited while there. For alterations, they were very hard to work with and made little concession for the fact that I was out of town. I got no monetary concessions for my trouble either. No break on alterations, the dress… I was very unhappy with my experience there and would not wish that kind of stress on any other bride. I encourage you to shop elsewhere. I wish I could put no stars on some of the categories off to the right.

Minerva's Bridal

4.4/ 5

I found my perfect dress at Minerva’s and it was everything I was looking for. The main complaint that I have was that they ordered my dress hollow to hem (which was an additional $200) and I guess they measured me incorrectly because when it came in the dress was too long. The wedding shoes I had bought, and been measured with, were 3 inch heels, but when the dress arrived I had to find new shoes that were 4 1/2 inches tall. I was very disappointed because it had taken me so long to find the perfect wedding shoes and I had spent a lot of money on them which I then could not return (not to mention standing all day in 4 1/2 inch heels was not fun). Also, when they measured me they told me to order the dress 4 sizes larger than the one I ended up ordering. The dress came in and fit perfect and needed no alterations, but if I had ordered what they were telling me I needed I would have had to do a ton of alterations which would have been very costly, so I recommend being cautious when it comes to their measurements. Lastly, I had a very difficult time coming in to pick up my dress. The only days they would allow you to pick it up is Monday through Friday and I was not able to go in during that time due to work. They seemed very frustrated and were not very helpful when I did come in. Although it was not the perfect experience, it was the only store that I found dresses that I liked so I would still recommend checking them out.
