OH MY GOODNESS! I do not have the words to describe how amazing our experience at Mission Inn was. I can honestly say I would not change a single thing about our wedding day! Being a family-owned resort, you really feel that atmosphere when you are there. Everyone on the team was so attentive and really made us feel welcomed/part of the family. The rooms are so nice, and there are plenty of on-property activities to do with visiting guests! The location is just beautiful, no pictures can do it justice. But the attention the Mission Inn team gave us was what made the day the best day of my life. They saw visions that I couldn’t have described and set up our reception to look like a dream. If I could replay that day over and over I would. I recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. It will not disappoint! There needs to be an option to rate Mission Inn more than five stars, because I would in heartbeat! Erin

5 Stars!!! Not only was the Mission Inn Resort one of the most beautiful venues that I saw during my search for locations to have our wedding, but the staff were also professional, friendly, and they went above and beyond. We fell in love with the place during our first meeting there with Shannon. She showed us around the resort and we were able to choose which wedding site we liked the best (they had 3 different ceremony locations to choose from). She really took her time with us and answered all of our questions. We knew right away that this was the place for us! Then, Katie was beyond helpful throughout the months to follow before the wedding. She was amazing at helping me plan and envision our day. She was very responsive and I would receive emails back from here immediately. On the actual wedding day, she was there to help everything run smoothly. She even helped the photographers by taking us to different locations on the premises so we could have different background scenery for our pictures. I couldn’t have asked for better people to help us with the day. I would HIGHY recommend the Mission Inn Resort to have a wedding. My guests loved it and so did we!

We fell in love with the breathtaking resort when we spoke and toured with Mark and even after that they still managed to surpass all of our expectations. It included everything we needed, making life much easier. The communication was great throughout the whole process. The way Katie (wedding coordinator) took care of our every need from start to finish was unreal. The food was delicious and the servers/bar tenders were wonderful. I honestly have not one complaint. Words cannot describe how happy we are with our Mission Inn wedding experience. All aspects of our celebration were beyond 5-star. During our initial visit, we met Mark Kingsdorf in the wedding sales department. We were extremely impressed with his professionalism, his knowledge of the property, and his low-pressure attitude. We were so impressed by what we saw and heard, it was easy for us to commit to having our wedding at Mission Inn. We feel truly lucky to have had Katie Jimenez as our wedding coordinator. Her friendly, personable attitude was immediately apparent. She was very willing to work within our vision of our perfect wedding and has a true “yes” mentality. She was willing to consider every request we had and in the end she didn’t have to tell us “no” on anything. She is a true professional, one who is organized, punctual, and well prepared. We were surprised that she could recall the details of our wedding without having to refer to her notes all the time. She was also very involved on the day of the wedding and made sure everything was perfect. It is quite clear she loves her job. Besides the wonderful people at Mission Inn (the entire staff was great!), we also fell in love with the ceremony location and the resort facilities. We chose the Plaza de la Fontana as our ceremony site. It was gorgeous! For our cocktail hour, we chose Plaza de las Palmas, which was charming and romantic. Our reception was in La Hacienda and we could not have been happier with the layout and beautiful details, such as the fireplace. The hotel is quaint and comfortable. Mission Inn is a small resort with all the amenities of a big resort. My husband was able to play golf on the El Champeon course with his groomsmen. He loved the course. It was beautiful and challenging. The pro shop staff also impressed him. They were very accommodating, especially with his untraditional group size. I was able to enjoy a full spa day with my bridal party. They went above and beyond in making sure we were relaxed and pampered. We got manicures, pedicures, and had full access to the spa facilities. We took advantage of the steam room, relaxation room (lounges with cucumbers for our eyes), and even had a light, healthy lunch catered by Mission Inn. Last but certainly not least was all of the delicious food available on property. We were blown away by the taste and quality of our wedding dinner. We chose to have filet mignon, spinach and boursin stuffed chicken, mushroom risotto, and a squash medley as our meal. The meal could not have been any more delicious or well prepared. My husband was even accommodated with a ribeye instead of a filet and is thrilled to say it’s the best one he’s ever had. One of the things that puts this resort above the rest is the fact that the food is prepared on site and a caterer does not have to transport pre-cooked meals. In addition to our wedding food, we also had a wonderful poolside rehearsal dinner. We chose the Americana Picnic package and the quality of food was impressive. The food quality really surprised us because we had a simple poolside BBQ in our mind, but the hamburgers, hot dogs, and fried chicken were top notch. We also ate at several other restaurants on property and never had a single complaint about service or food quality. Overall, we would rate our wedding way beyond 5-stars if we could. We were truly impressed by every experience we had at the resort and by every person we met while there. In addition to our own personal impressions, we have received tons of compliments about our beautiful wedding, gorgeous location, and the delightful food. It is definitely a first class property and well worth the value. We feel that a similar experience would have been close to double in price at another Orlando area resort.

Mission Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The resort offers the total package of atmosphere, menu selection, amenities and competitive pricing. We had an intimate gathering of 70 people with the majority being out of town guests. We were able to host our pre-wedding dinner, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in different spaces in the resort. Photos do not capture the classic beauty and old world charm of the Resort. Thanks to Amy and the team at Mission Inn Weddings our wedding day was like a dream come true.

Mission Inn was a beautiful location to host our wedding. They were very flexible and professional in all of their dealings. We were very happy with the service and would definitely recommend it to friends and family! They have multiple ceremony and reception spots to choose from depending on the number of guests and they’re all beautiful. The food was amazing too! It was also very convenient for everyone to be able to stay in the hotel connected to the resort. We had a lot of out of town guests and it was a blast for everyone to be able to hang out by the pool in one centralized location.

How do you thank someone that you’ve spent over a year emailing and talking with that helped you build your dream wedding and then when you actually arrive to experience this amazing wedding she surpasses the already extraordinary expectations you have just by being herself and loving her job? Katie at Mission Inn is one of the most passionate, caring professionals we have ever met. We recall emailing Katie over 300 times over the time we were planning and she responded to every single one and always with the same care as if we were her only clients! There were features of our wedding that enhanced the experience that we never expected. In addition to the already astounding atmosphere, incredibly thoughtful staff, and eagerness to accommodate our every need, Mission Inn is truly THE place to be married. Not only did they cater to us as Bride & Groom, every single guest raved about the venue! The food was unbelievable! Such flavor and creations! The staff was truly incredible! Always smiles, giving the kind of service you see in the movies. We wanted for nothing while we were at Mission Inn. Since we booked with Mission Inn, we have returned every month just to tour the property. Our visits were always so unbelievable, so much so that for our wedding we stayed for four days just to immerse ourselves in the place we have come to love so much. Planning a large wedding is no easy task. When you have Mission Inn and Katie on your side, day or night, they can offer you an experience like no other. Like Spanish mission styled architecture, perfectly manicured lawns, and a gorgeous view? Then Mission Inn Resort & Club is the perfect location for your wedding. At least for me, my dream wedding came true at this gorgeous Lake County resort. I wanted to find a place off the beaten path, where not many people I knew had been married. I wanted a place where I felt pampered, and was treated like a true bride. And I found it at Mission Inn. From the moment we arrived on property, the hospitality of the staff was impeccable. Sharon Tarrant and Katie Jimenez are two of the best wedding coordinators in the business. The two of them helped us locate vendors, incorporate our theme, and create the most amazing day of our lives together. On the wedding day itself, there was a crazy thunderstorm that showed up right before my wedding was supposed to start. Katie waited as long as she could before coming to ask if I wanted to move everything indoors. I declined and the rain actually began to stop. The staff probably wiped down the chairs 3 times before guests could sit because small sprinkles kept falling. But by the time the ceremony began, the sun was shining! I am a bacon connoisseur, and the chef incorporated bacon into our cocktail hour and dinner. Everything was delicious. While guests were eating, we were driven around to take pictures around the property. We managed to get a lot of photos and different locations in despite the delays caused by the rain. We had a blast at the reception. And our hotel room was filled with some pretty amazing surprises. My husband and I are so glad we choose this amazing venue. If you want a stress free, dream like wedding, choose Mission Inn. They will make your dreams a reality.

Perfect Wedding Weekend

Everything about our wedding weekend was just perfect. A big thanks to Katie J, Shannon, and all of the Mission Inn staff for helping to make that happen. Katie J made sure all the details of our big day were planned and executed perfectly. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who wants the feel of a destination wedding without having to leave Central Florida. It is a great place to have all your guests celebrate together and stay there on property. The hotel rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable and the grounds are simply gorgeous. The boys had a great time skeet shooting while my girls and I relaxed with pedicures at Spa Marbella before the wedding. Some guests enjoyed fishing, while others soaked up some FL sun by the pool. Our guests are still telling us how wonderful everything was and how much they loved the food at Mission Inn, both at our reception and at breakfast in the restaurant. I can’t thank Mission Inn enough!

My wedding was more beautiful and ran smoother than I could have ever imagined! We had our ceremony and reception out on the Marina but all of their locations are gorgeous! All of the staff were over-the-top amazing! From our first meeting with Shannon to the little details every step of the way with Katie and even Brittany with the make-up team from their spa and Ann Marie in reservations… absolutely incredible and friendly professional service. Not to mention, I was an out of town bride so most of it was planned via email and phone conversations.

The first time I visited Mission Inn Resort, I knew I had to get married there no matter what it took. While it was much more pricey than we had wanted to pay, I can say without a doubt it was worth every single penny. The professionalism, the one-on-one help, the beauty of the resort, the staff, the food, the ease of preparation, the way everything was handled from start to finish was amazing. Katie Jimenez, Shannon Tarrant and their staff were wonderful, helpful, professional, understanding, and did whatever needed to be done! I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for that old world Spanish feel, as we were married in Plaza la Fontana and had our reception in La Hacienda! It was exactly what we were looking for. The only thing I regret is not having more time to enjoy it all and take it all in. We missed a lot of photo opportunities due to the weather but aside from that, it was my dream wedding in a dream location! I also recommend upgrading to the one bedroom suite for your wedding night, it was huge, had a gorgeous view, and worth the extra money. Thank you all for everything you did to make sure our day was PERFECT!

As soon as we drove into Mission Inn, we knew it would be the location for our wedding. We were looking for an outdoor venue for the ceremony and reception, and the resort had several options for each. Our wedding coordinator, Katie J., maintained active communication and was willing to answer any questions we had. The biggest bonus for having our wedding at the resort was that our guests could stay within walking distance of the ceremony and reception sites, along with multiple restaurants for the nights before and after the event. We were able to extend the celebration by keeping everyone close by. The staff at Mission Inn treated us with respect and kindness no matter if it was the day of the wedding or we were staying as regular guests. The location also offers vast areas of natural setting that were perfect for pictures and relaxation. A wedding at Mission Inn is stress free and includes everything you need in one reasonable price.

My husband and I got married at the Mission Inn Resort and Club in April 2015. We found this venue through Wedding Wire. This venue was the first one we visited. Our first contact was with Shannon, who was amazing. Shannon was very friendly and genuine. Talking with Shannon and discussing wedding planning was like talking with an old friend. Shannon made us feel comfortable and at ease. My husband and I visited several other venues, but found ourselves comparing the other venues to Mission Inn. The other venues did not measure up and we returned to Mission Inn and locked in our wedding date. My husband and I then met our event coordinator, Katie, who was just as amazing as Shannon. Katie was very sweet, upbeat, and outgoing. Katie made the wedding planning process a breeze. My husband and I had a less is more and go with the flow attitude. However, whatever specific idea or demands we had regarding our wedding, were graciously met by Katie. Katie definitely made my wedding day stress free and everything was perfect. Our wedding guests complimented the beautiful venue, friendly staff, and delicious food. I had a great experience with Mission Inn and would recommend it to any bride. I do not have any complaints about the venue or staff because any issues that arose were promptly handled. My family described the wedding as a fairytale wedding and I definitely agree.

Although more than we wanted to spend, we believe we got our moneys worth. The day was perfect and Katie was so very helpful even down to helping me bustle my gown. They made planning the event stress free and were on task to help me move all the deadlines along. The only thing I might change is a bathroom in the bridal ready room. Having to leave and go through the court yard was a bit worrisome as we had to make sure not to run into the groom. The other thing, the kids meals could consist of more than chicken fingers and fries for the price. Over all we had a perfect experience and would do it there all over again!

Best Day Ever!

Everything about this venue was perfect. From meeting Shannon Tarrant at the beginning, we knew this was our venue. I soon met Katie Jimenez who proved to be a wedding planning super hero. She responded quickly to every email and phone call and always was so on top of everything. The day went perfectly and she took care of the little details of planning without me knowing. I think she was a mind-reader because I would give her the items and before I knew it, they were set up in the exact spot that I would have put them 🙂 She also ran to grab my phone out of the room we were getting ready in to have the DJ play our first dance again since he had played the incorrect song at first. We got married at the Plaza a La Fontana, had the cocktail hour at the Plaza de Las Palmas and the reception in La Hacienda. Our wedding flowed together nicely and it was so nice for our guests to walk from one area with the next. The scenery is beautiful and will make for some perfect pictures. They also have golf courses and skeet-shooting that my husband and 13 friends, including groomsmen did and enjoyed. And some family used the spa Marabella, which they said was beautiful. The rooms are great and reasonably priced. Overall, we had 125 adults and 15 kids and it ended up costing about 20,000 including a premium open bar. I said I wanted lemonade and vodka and they ran to the other restaurant on site to grab lemonade (I didn’t know this until the bartender told me) They all truly went the extra mile. You will have a wonderful experience with this caring and exceptional team.

We held our wedding and reception at Mission Inn. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic from beginning to end. Everyone from the sales team on the first day to the hotel staff on the last made this a weekend to remember. We initially booked with them because it was a destination resort that could deliver ceremony, food and reception for all one price. They went above and beyond our expectations to make the weekend incredible. Most of the guests were from out of town so we took up many of the resort rooms and services. We never once felt like we were imposing or that they couldn’t handle our large group. Our guests enjoyed golfing, the spa, the pool and many food and beverage facilities. Shannon was a pleasure to work with when we initially booked. The entire food and beverage team exceeded our expectations. By far the best part of the experience was event coordinator Katie J. She understood exactly what we were looking for, kept us on track and worked diligently on the actual day to ensure everything went perfect. We highly recommend Katie and the entire staff at Mission Inn to anyone looking for a venue that can do it all AND do it great! The only downside was we had to leave at the end of the weekend and say goodbye after a year of working with these great people!

Our New Year’s Eve wedding at the Mission Inn Resort was perfect. We worked with Shannon and Stephanie who are both genuine, friendly and super helpful. I actually had another venue in mind, but when I made my first visit to the Mission Inn, I was hooked because of how special they made me feel and because of how beautiful the grounds are. Throughout the whole planning process, Stephanie was there for me via phone and email to answer any questions I had or to make great suggestions. And on the day of the wedding, she was with me through every step to make sure everything ran smoothly. We had our reception in the Legends courtyard at night (stunning) and our reception in the Legends ballroom where everyone danced the night away, ate AMAZING filet mignon and rang in the new year. It’s been over a month and people still keep telling me how great it was and how much fun they had! If I had to say anything negative, it would be about the spa (wasn’t a big fan of my makeup and it is a bit pricey) but I even feel bad for mentioning it because it didn’t matter. The whole day was magical and went by too fast. If I could do it all over again I would. In fact, we may need to renew our vows sooner than later and throw a huge celebration at the Mission Inn Resort 🙂

The Angels Came to the Mission Inn

We are an older couple (both over 65) who were looking for a venue for our wedding that was elegant, warm and first class. We found that at the Mission Inn. Everyone there from our day of planner (Katie Jimenez) to the bellmen to the waitstaff were all first class all the way. The rooms were warm and comfortable, the food was outstanding and the facility lent itself to an elegant and relaxing weekend that will be remembered by all our guests. We have traveled throughout the country, eaten at many very fine restaurants and stayed at wonderful resorts but the Mission Inn is now at the top of our list. We will be back for another wonderful stay (this time minus the wedding excitement). If you pass up the opportunity to experience this incredible facility, I assure you that you will have missed a very special resort. We know that Angels live there….we met many of them!

Mission Inn was amazing. Wedding ceremony and reception was at the Marina del Rey. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the reception area has an amazing view of Lake Harris. The venue itself has a simple and timeless elegance. It photographs beautifully – from the cypress trees and spanish moss everywhere to the floor to ceiling windows and market lighting. The venue itself completely exceed my expectations so having the Mission Inn events coordinator Katie J. assisting and being my main point of contact — was just an added bonus. Without Katie’s oversight and event/wedding coordination I would have been lost. She was always friendly and accommodating and communicated with me every step of the way.

Having our wedding at Mission Inn was the best decision we could have made. From the time we were touring the venue with Shannon we felt right at home. We like that it is a family owned establishment because you feel like family when you’re there. Our venue coordinator was Katie and she was simply the best. There are many locations to choose from for the ceremony. We went with the Plaza de Fontana and it was simply breathtaking. All of our guests were raving about the natural beauty of the location. The staff was amazing and really catered to our every need. They want to make sure you are well taken care of. At our wedding, all of the guests raved about the food. We had many vegetarian guests and the chef let us help plan what their meals would be. At the reception our families commented on how the staff were so attentive, happy and seemed to be having a good time right along with us. Other great things were that the golf course is amazing! There is also a pool, tennis courts, restaurants, a spa…everything you need is right there! The rooms are very nice and we had a perfect view of the golf course. We enjoyed ourselves so much at the Mission Inn that we wish we could have our wedding all over again! We definitely plan to go back and have a nice relaxing vacation there. If you are searching for the perfect place to get married or just have a relaxing vacation, Mission Inn is it!

Mission Inn is a wonderful venue on beautiful property and I am so happy that I had my wedding there. The venue is on a beautiful golf course and guests of the wedding were able to enjoy a round of golf before the wedding day. I’m not sure really to start. I found this venue online somewhere. I saw a picture of the court yard and feel in love with it. My fiancé and I were looking for a place that was away from the city. We wanted it to be somewhere where our families could relax at for the weekend. Josh and I wanted a wedding weekend. We meet Katie initially, we liked her demeanor and felt she was genuine. We toured all 3 ceremony sights but decided on the fountain site. First we stayed a night to try out the food, the staff and the rooms to ensure it would be a great fit for us. The food was most important and it was delicious! After that we signed contract. Also, they are a very busy venue so don’t expect an immediate response every time from the wedding department. Next, Stephanie became our banquet planner. She was amazing and most helpful during our wedding planning. Anytime we had a concern, Stephanie would find a solution. We had 3 different locations for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. From what I hear via our guests said everything was perfect. We also rented a villa and held our rehearsal dinner there. Josh and I wanted our families to cook for our rehearsal dinner and they pulled through. The villas provided the room and full kitchen we needed to accomplish this. It was also amazing. I couldn’t have ask for any more. My wedding was absolutely perfect. We were given a hotel room for 2 nights (night of), with a bottle of chilled champagne and a voucher for the breakfast buffet the next morning. We played golf and shot trap at the onsite range. The final bill was a larger expense than expected but it was well worth it. My only advice it to think of all the gray areas, such as upgraded table chairs/linen, alcohol, changing meal packages, etc before signing a contract. We didn’t think of these and it put us over venue budget by almost $2K. I absolutely recommend Stephanie Duncan and her team!!!!

Best Day Ever

Our wedding was flawless. We are SO blessed to have worked with the wedding professionals at Mission Inn Resort & Club. Not only is this a gorgeous venue, but their staff is what truly makes it shine. Our first venue tour with Shannon Tarrant was amazing. She was very helpful and understanding of our vision of our wedding day. After we booked, Stephanie Duncan became our catering coordinator and helped guide us through every detail from menu choices, room diagrams and linens. Mission Inn was very flexible and accessible leading up to our wedding day. I was able to schedule table mock ups and design meetings with my vendors and Shannon and Stephanie were always available for my wedding questions. With family attending from out of town, Mission Inn was the perfect venue to host overnight guests. We even had an after party at the Margarita Lounge! We could not have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding ceremony & reception. Thank you to the amazing wedding professionals who truly made it the best day ever! 🙂

My husband and I got married at Mission Inn on September 20, 2014. From the start of our planning process back in December 2013, we knew that Mission Inn was the place for us. We looked for a scenic backdrop that combined elegance for our special day. We knew our guest count was going to be in the 200-275 range with about half of our guests coming from out of town, so rooms on site were a must. Mission Inn was able to provide us with a great package that met our needs and Katie Jiminez was in constant communication to ensure everything came out perfect. Words can’t even begin to describe how wonderful our experience at Mission Inn was. From our Rehearsal Dinner the night before (which all of our family and friends raved about), to the beautiful scenery for our ceremony (Plaza de la Fontana)It was perfect.Oh did I mention that it was drizzling before our ceremony started and the team at Mission Inn escorted our 220 guests to a covered area and then 10 minutes later, dried all the chairs so our guests could sit down and not get wet. During the rehearsal Carol the server ensured that everyone was content with the food and accommodated all my requests for the guests. The next day thanks to her and the serving team, they sent a piece of each layer of our cake to our room which was a sweet surprise to our long day! Katie was the constant throughout our weekend and was so helpful throughout the process. Whether it was arranging transportation for my bridal party to the rehearsal or making sure we got food as we got ready on the day of, she was on it. I never had to look for anyone or was behind schedule on our wedding day because Katie was masterminding everything behind the scenes. The catering crew was phenomenal as well and all of our guests complimented not only the delicious food, but the service and friendly disposition of the staff. I could go on and on because this place is DEFINITELY worth checking out but in short, Mission Inn made our dreams a reality.

Delivered Beyond Our Expectations

The Mission Inn Resort delivered beyond our expectations. Katie not only did a phenomenal job managing the venue, catering, etc. prior to and during the wedding, but she also provided recommendations and referrals for dj, cake, flowers, and photography vendors, each of whom delivered exceptional service. On top of everything, our wedding ceremony received near record rainfall, and was nearly rained out. But Katie helped us set up a tent at the 11th hour, and we not only saved our wedding, but the impending drama actually motivated everyone to huddle and hunker down for a good time, and it ended up being more fun than we could have imagined. The weather cleared halfway through the reception, and we then were able to enjoy a bonfire outside of the marina that we would not have had otherwise. The Mission Inn Resort delivered!

This venue was the BEST choice for us! Not only were they very helpful in answering all of my questions prior to the wedding (Shannon, Stephanie and Angela), but the staff also went above and beyond on the day of the wedding. For example, our cake had an accident on the way to the venue. The chef actually helped to put it back together. From the moment I showed up on the morning of the wedding, to the moment we left, I felt very at ease. The front desk staff was amazing and Greg, the bellman, was beyond amazing in assisting with transporting items, ordering us food, and even parked my car! The marina where we had our ceremony and reception was perfect! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking!

Perfect Place for a Wedding

Mission Inn was the perfect place for us to get married! They offer everything and many of our guest made a mini vacation out of their stay! The Mission Inn team was great to work with. They were flexible with our request, accommodating to our schedules and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations! The property is gorgeous and offers numerous back drops for pictures! We decided to do a first look just to get all the photos that we wanted. Over all, Miss Inn is the perfect place for a wedding… or any event in that matter!!

The Mission Inn appears rustic yet classic. Very impressive. The culinary services provided were professional & satisfying to every palate. The staff overextended themselves in providing every accommodation without hesitation. Sharron, Katie & Stephanie were just fabulous. The grounds were perfect and provided a photographer’s dream. I would highly recommend this venue & the fact that they offer so many services just makes the entire experience stress free & allows you to enjoy your wedding day. Our wedding at Mission Inn was amazing!!!! We are beyond happy with Stephanie, our wedding coordinator, as well as Shannon and the entire staff at Mission Inn. Stephanie was so helpful through our entire planning process. She made us feel at ease every step of the way. We were confident that our special day would be beautiful and exactly like our vision… and it was! Our wedding was flawless!!! We chose Mission Inn for the breathtaking site of Legends. We loved the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception space. Our event felt very private and our guests absolutely loved both spaces. The food was delicious the entire weekend including the reception! Our guests really enjoyed all of the resort amenities. It was a weekend full of happiness and joy! If you are looking for the perfect venue I highly recommend Mission Inn Resort!

My wedding at mission inn was beautiful it was the best day of my life I couldn’t have asked for it to go any better was so perfect and i will remember that day forever! The food was so good and service was awesome.The whole planning process was very easy they handled most of the details thanks to Katie J she was the best planner she went over every detail with me and made sure it was all perfect for my big day couldn’t have done it without her. I loved the resort such a beautiful place definitely a hidden gem our bridal suite was amazing too was so big with a great view. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Mission Inn from start to finish. Shannon T. was friendly and enthusiastic when telling us about all the amazing amenities that Mission Inn has to offer. We were immediately sold on using Mission Inn for our reception venue. Shannon also provided a list of recommended vendors that we used to select our fun DJ! Stephanie D. was our venue coordinator and she was awesome! Stephanie was quick to respond to my emails, and answered all of my questions and concerns promptly. Stephanie was patient and accommodating with all of my wedding details and decorations. The bridal ready room at Mission Inn was very useful for myself and my bridal party. My husband and his groomsmen participated in skeet shooting at Mission Inn the morning of the wedding followed by relaxing in the pool and they all had a blast! It was really convenient to block rooms at the beautiful resort for our out-of-town guests to stay on property. My husband’s #1 request in the wedding planning process was good food and an open bar. The dinner menu provided by Mission Inn was NOT the typical bland, boring, wedding food. Our dinner was delicious and our guest’s appetites were definitely satisfied! The charming atmosphere and gorgeous landscape provided by Mission Inn was appealing and perfect for our Old Florida themed wedding. I’m excited to see our professional photos taken on Mission Inn’s stunning property. Mission Inn was the perfect place to have our wedding! It was referred to us by a relatives coworker and when we check it out we knew it was the one. Shannon showed us around and answered all out questions! Katie J was our event coordinator and she was absolutely amazing!! The money spent was well worth her services and the venue was added bonus. She walked me through all the details to plan my wedding and was there for all of my needs! They day of the wedding her and her team set up everything perfectly without me having to worry about a thing! It was beautiful! They really know how to put on your dream wedding! Our guests had to most amazing time staying at Mission Inn. All of our guests made our wedding into a mini vacation and enjoyed what the resort had to offer… Pool, golf, trap and skeet and amazing food! The service from the staff was five stars! I never heard one negative comment about anything. My husband and I are already planning on going back on our anniversary to enjoy everything Mission Inn had to offer!! Loved it!

If it wasn’t so expensive to get married, I would do it at Mission Inn all over again. They made the weekend absolutely perfect starting with a spa day for the girls and skeet shooting for the guys. Tammy was amazing throughout the planning and the chef went above and beyond any expectations, especially when it came to dietary restrictions for my grandmother. The Mission Inn is not only beautiful, the food is amazing, the staff is stellar, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anything more.

PERFECT PLACE TO GET MARRIED!!!

Mission Inn was incredible!!! First and foremost, my original wedding date was supposed to be 12/13/13. We had a signed contract and deposit down on that date. However, my wife and I are now expecting a child, and Mission Inn was extremely understanding in allowing us to change dates, without being penalized. This took a ton of stress of of our plate, and really made us feel like they cared about us and our special day. The other challenged my wife and i faced was the fact that everyone of our guest were travelling a great distance to attend the wedding. Because of this we felt a strong need to provide more than just a one day event. Our wedding party ended up arriving Thursday before our Sunday event and everyone had an amazing time. My groomsmen played, golf, and went skeet shooting, while their wives and our bridesmaids relaxed by the pool and went to the spa. We ate every meal at the hotel, and everyone raved about how amazing all of the food was. We had a block of rooms, so the prices were very affordable, and everyone mentioned how clean and nice the hotel rooms were. The honeymoon suite (i should say palace) was incredible and my pregnant wife certainly appreciated the spa/tub that the room had. The ceremony itself was at outside located between the pool hall and buffet restaurant, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. I cant wait to see the photos!! We also had a few small children with us, and the hotel was really kid friendly. There is a small playground, and shuffleboard courts which kept them amused and entertained. One of my friends even extended his stay and drove to Disney and Universal two of the days. The hotel was just shy of an hour away so it worked out well. Also, in the planning prior to the event, both Shannon and Katie did phenomenal jobs insuring we had a great day. Overall the event truly could not have gone any better, my wife and I are already planning our 1 year anniversary back there.

The Perfect Place to get Married!

The perfect place to get married! We made a whole weekend of it. Friday was bachelor golf outing & I treated my bridesmaids to a day at the spa. Then rehearsal & dinner followed by cocktails at La Margarita. Guests relaxed at the pool Saturday, then an absolutely perfect wedding! The staff at Mission Inn were incredible. My coordinator Katie had every detail covered. I didn’t have to worry or think about a thing. Day of coordinator Elisa is a “must have” for every bride. She stayed close by the whole evening making sure I had anything I needed. The property is gorgeous! I loved not having to worry about transportation. All guests stayed right on property & loved it! Our guests are still talking about what a beautiful & fun wedding we had. The whole weekend was perfect, just what I had dreamed of. We’ll be going back for anniversaries.

My perfect wedding!

My dad actually ran across Mission Inn while we were venue hunting last year for my wedding. The pictures were beautiful and I instantly fell in love with Mission Inn! I fell so much in love that we booked it without even seeing it in person. The wedding sales specialist Shannon really put my mind at ease and I knew we made the right decision! When we finally got a chance to go visit the pictures didn’t do it justice! The resort is amazing and gorgeous!! Everyone there was super friendly and helpful and helped me even though I was planning our wedding from far away! When it came time for our wedding it turned out perfect despite a few small bumps it was gorgeous and everyone had a great time! My favorite part about having it at Mission Inn was that it is so secluded from Orlando that all guests were coming out of town and we really had a whole wedding weekend!! I really felt at home at Mission Inn and now I feel part of the Mission Inn family! Katie the wedding coordinator always got back to me immediately and was honest with me when I needed help picking things out! I feel so lucky to have gotten a great coordinator with Mission Inn! We had the perfect wedding and we wouldn’t have had it any other way than at Mission Inn!

Our wedding was amazing. We held our actual ceremony at Marina Del Ray, which is located off the main property and on a lake. The staff of Mission Inn helped create the atmosphere we wanted – a soft, romantic and somewhat vintage, old-world feel. The piping and draping was perfect, the white chairs were aligned just right. Our reception was held in the Legends Ballroom. Again, a perfect set up. The tables and chairs looked wonderful and were evenly spaced. Everyone had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the food! It was picture perfect and this made our big day just as special as we could have imagined.

Amazing wedding venue

I recently got married and used the Mission Inn as my venue. I can’t say enough about how happy I was with my choice. From the very beginning everything was perfect. Shannon is the first person you will meet with and she is awesome! She took so much time to answer my questions and was so enthusiastic and friendly. She made us feel like she actually cared about us and our wedding. The next person you will meet is the wedding coordinator, Katie. She was awesome! Again, very responsive and that girl was on top of things!! She really was just the best. Everyone at the resort was wonderful! Because it is family owned, you get a very personalize experience as opposed to getting married at a big name resort where you are just another number. The property was so beautiful and they handle everything! I didn’t have I worry about a thing the whole time. I thought the food was great and I got so many compliments on how beautiful the ceremony site was. It was a great value for my money and I loved that I was able to have my guests stay at the same place where we said I do. It was absolutely perfect and I would recommend them to anyone!

Mission Inn and Resort is a beautiful Resort! They take excellent care of the property and everyone on site is friendly, willing to help, and down to earth. The vendors they use, such as hair, make-up, officiants, bakery, servers, etc are the BEST! Everyone takes their time, and makes sure your enjoying your moment!. The staff is just delightful to work with, they’re only a phone call/email away, and they always get back to you promptly! I would definitely recommend Mission Inn and Resort to anyone. You won’t leave disappointed. I’m 100% happy with my wedding experience:)

The wedding planning staff was outstanding and very supportive throughout the entire planning process and the day of the wedding. We planned a unique wedding and the Mission Inn staff attended to every detail to perfection. The ceremony area, cocktail hour, and reception at La Hacienda were gorgeous. The food was outstanding and the wait staff were especially attentive to us and all of our guests. Mission Inn was a dream place to have our wedding! The resort is beautiful and the staff is amazing. We had Stephanie as our coordinator and she was so helpful throughout the planning process and especially on the day of our wedding. She put out all of our decorations for us, coordinated with our vendors, and so much more. It was wonderful not having to worry about anything!! The reception staff was also outstanding. They were very friendly, helpful and made sure my husband and I always had everything we needed. This is the kind of place where you feel like family, even after the wedding is over. I really can’t say enough about how great this place is. I wish I could do it all over again! Thank you Mission Inn for making my wedding perfect!!

I can’t even express the time and attention the mission inn gave us for our wedding. They were amazing and we could not have pulled it off without them. Everyone tells you to expect SOMETHING to go wrong….well thanks to Tammy, Morgan, and the whole team, our wedding was flawless. They all felt like guests and friends versus staff. We will never forget them!
