Established in 1835, Mustard Seed Gardens was originally a family-owned farmstead. It has since been restored into an enchanting wedding & event venue in the heart of Indiana. In the 1800’s, President Andrew Jackson deeded the property to George Metsker, in exchange for his military service during the War of 1812. For decades, the property served as a farmstead & home to the Metsker family. In 2008, husband & wife team Mark and Teresa Skipper toured the old property, which needed an enormous amount of love and restoration. A year later, they bought it. Now an established venue, Mustard Seed Gardens will host its 500th event this year.
