My husband bought my engagement ring for me at Bentley 20 years ago. I have worn it everyday, and do not remove it at all. I am a mother of three, I mow the lawn, I paint, I garden - this ring has not been treated gently. I recently felt that the prongs may be in question, and so went back to Bentley. I decided to have the ring reset in white gold (same setting). I picked up my "new" ring and was delighted. TEN days later, I looked down to see that my center stone was GONE!!! The ring was not in any way damaged or dinged - the stone (the one that had all the sentimental value) had simply fallen out. We were never able to find it. I drove directly to Bentley, expected some form of apology, and a game plan for how they could remediate the situation. After meeting with the manager, and then the owner, their response was "you must have banged it". Never an apology, much less any form of remediation. Even the jeweler's response was "I never had that happen before". I was so upset, and even more disgusted. Bentley's advertising line is "the only thing we care about more than our diamonds, is our reputation"...baloney! They could have done the right thing, but they didn't even try. Clearly, the workmanship is no good, and they do not value their customers at all. Avoid this jeweler at all costs!

BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased a diamond engagement ring only 2 weeks ago from BENTLEY DIAMOND WALL NJ, under the careful eye of their sales rep know as only RICK. I bought this engagement ring under the upmost trust and confidence in Ricks word, and written 30day unconditional FULL REFUND money back guarantee. I proposed to my girlfriend, who said, yes, but then due to sad unforeseen circumstances, had to return the ring to me, and terminate the relationship. I immediately called RICK from BENTLEY DIAMOND, in an understandable hardship, only to have my refund rejected, to add insult to injury. I paid $7,400 in a cashier's check, and despite a written & verbal promise from BENTLEY DIAMOND for a full refund, was offered only $2,400 back on my investment. This company has caused me more grief & pain than you could imagine. Rick, and the members of BENTLEY DIAMOND are nothing more than well-dressed crooks, & professional con artists.
