We hired Jillian from One Touch Events two months before our wedding to be our “day of” coordinator. It was a great decision. Jillian was fantastic and helped greatly in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and on the big day! Throughout, she was professional, attentive, and a pleasure to work with. The weeks leading up to a wedding are busy, and having Jillian to handle a bunch of the details was really helpful and reassuring! Jillian created two detailed timelines for the wedding weekend–one that she provided to the vendors, and one that she emailed to the bridal party. This was great in terms of letting everyone know where to be and when–there were a lot of moving parts and she kept everything organized. In the weeks before the wedding, Jillian contacted all of the vendors and venues to confirm details. She also put together the out of town guest bags (which included snacks, drinks, and information about the wedding events), which were amazing. Jillian designed beautiful personalized water bottle labels and personalized “do not disturb” door hangers for guests’ hotel rooms. On the day of the wedding, Jillian made sure everything ran smoothly–from making sure vendors and the bridal party and families were where they needed to be, to making sure the guests got on the bus to the ceremony. It was very, very nice to have her there to keep things on track and to handle the minor issues that invariably arose. (For example, she brings a gigantic “emergency kit” stocked with everything anyone could possibly need, such as Advil, snacks, bobby pints, etc.). Jillian had the perfect wedding-day demeanor. She was a calming presence, and everyone knew to go to her if there was a problem, but at the same time she operated in the background and did unnecessarily insert herself into the day. In short, I am so glad she was there, and my bridal party thought she was fantastic. I would recommend Jillian to anyone. My only regret is that we didn’t hire her earlier in the process to help with the early-stage planning!
