From the moment I saw The Flipbook People’s booth at a wedding show, I knew I needed to have them at my wedding. I don’t regret my choice. We quickly signed a contract with Todd, who was very nice. Then we ran into some trouble while trying to contact Todd and Amy regarding our flipbook cover design and background images. They seemed to not have time to respond to our emails, and they seemed not be communicating with each other (asking us for the same information). I thought they were pretty unprofessional in this way. Even though we sent in our cover design ideas early enough and asked about background choices several times and followed up again and again for several weeks, our flipbook covers were not designed until about 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding, and the background image choices were not sent to us until the weekend before the wedding. This was an added stress at a very stressful time. It was very frustrating. In the end, only one of our three background choices was actually used at the event. I’m not sure why that happened. Maybe we misunderstood something there. That said… everyone LOVED the flipbook booth!! They raved about how original, fun, and creative the concept is. Despite all of our struggles with them prior to the event, I would do it all over again without any hesitation. I love my flipbook keepsakes, and it was wonderful to see my old family and my new family and all of our friends being goofy together and having a great time making flipbooks. I have already recommended The Flipbook People to friends and businesses (with a warning). I think they should allow guests to order reprints online of the flipbooks they make.
