I looked at several locations for our wedding including some hotels, restaurants and other golf courses. Let me tell you, the photos you will see online don't do this place justice. It was so beautiful in person with plenty of perfect places for photos opps. The staff made me feel relaxed and the bridal dressing room was the perfect space to get ready. The only mishap was a mixup in our food menu but the staff was so helpful and not one guest even noticed the mixup. I wouldn't change my wedding day and would definitely recommend the Royal Crest Room if you are looking for first class location without paying top dollar. Thank you to the staff for helping to make this day so special for us and our families.

It's a beautiful location location & delicious food for a great price. The food tasting was our 1st let down. We scheduled in advance & invited family from out of town to attend. On our way, TRCR called last minute to say they canceled because they didn't have staff. They showed the girls around & we told them they couldn't make the next one. At the next food tasting, they set the table for 4 & asked where they were. It was a huge bummer because we had a special event we wanted to share the 1st time. The tasting was great & we formulated a wedding timeline with staff; feeling very confident. We tried to schedule a meeting to finalize details & our iPod for the ceremony; which they declined. The rehearsal day was rainy & they hadn't planned in advance; leaving us waiting for them to set up & attending our party late. The day of was chaotic & they were unprepared. There were a lot of unanswered questions. The staff wanted to know how to use the music while I was trying to get ready for pictures. We tried to do this prior to the day of & at the rehearsal where it was not used. I had forgotten to ask at the rehearsal to include our grandparents/parents walking down. I planned for my brother to walk my grandma & mom. While taking pictures, she asked how I felt for my dad to walk my mom because she forgot to ask at rehearsal. I told her I'd talk to my mom because she doesn't like things sprung on her & I wanted my brother to walk her. The staff said she already talked to my mom & husband's family & it was a plan; that it wouldn't be fair to my mother-in-law. The ceremony was fantastic. Getting pictures done was a nightmare! We paid about $7,000 & WE had to work around the golfers. The staff member kept trying to rush me across the course & I could barely walk. I almost fell several times. There were some rude golfers who had been drinking & made VERY crude comments to my 14 yo cousin! The staff member saw it & LET IT HAPPEN! Ridiculous! We asked them to keep going, but they hung around while staff did nothing! She also wasn't very helpful to our photographer & was condescending. We provided a timeline and discussed at our food tasting what was happening each hour. We entered into the ballroom & she stops the music and asks us if we are dancing or eating next. We discussed this with her 4 months ago & provided an updated timeline well in advance. It was extremely embarrassing. They told us our food would be served to us and were asked our preferences. While we were waiting for a meal we were asked if we would be serving ourselves. Not until an hour before the wedding ended did she use the timeline to try to rush us out. We understood that there would be a timeline & they told us they were very strict on following it, which was a joke! It was beautiful & memorable, but we expected a professional & on point staff. The cost is well worth your money!

The Royal Crest Room was the second venue we visited and the only venue we fell in love with. We visited a number of other venues but our heart was with TRCR and we knew it was the best place for us. It was a great value, delicious food and a wonderful staff. The best thing of all was the beautiful outdoor ceremony location and the amazing places all over the course to take pictures. We had never seen anything like it. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was. The event managers we worked with (Jamie, Cassie and Karen) were easy to work with and very responsive which is so important. Every email was answered, everything we discussed was documented and the venue went above and beyond to make our day special. They executed our vision perfectly and we didn't have one thing to worry about on the day of our wedding. My husband and I were extremely happy with the service we received from TRCR and we would recommend this venue in a heartbeat to other brides.
