How much time do we get?
Typically you get 4 hours set up time and 5 hours of event time. additional time is easily available.
Can we get married and have our reception both in the same place?
Absolutely. We have many options including holding your ceremony inside or even on the 12th Street Bridge adjacent to the Rumely. The Rumely event space has a beautiful, secluded and serene Bridal suite as well as a grooms chamber too. Some couples choose to get ready at Rumely, then go to the wedding site, and return to the venue for the reception
What's included in my rental fee?
TONS! The Rumely offers use of the entire interior space but includes an elevator attendant, parking lot attendants and security as well. We also provide tables and chairs up to capacity. You have up to 2 hours of consultation time with the Rumely event staff prior to your event to discuss details of your wedding and use of the space.
What's the situation with guest parking?
The Rumely has space for over 200 cars very close and secure. The West bottoms has the lowest crime rate in Kansas City!
Can I hire an outside caterer?
We have several preferred caterers and vendors. These are vendors we have done business with and trust they will make our brides happy! We believe that every bride deserves to have their special day and if that means an outside vendor we will gladly accommodate. We do charge a $250 administrative fee per outside vendor.
