The Something Blue Shoppe was opened in Historic downtown Hartselle, Alabama in the old Farmers and Merchants Bank in 1968. Twenty years later, with a passion for all things bridal, Sarah Morris became the owner. Little did she know at that time, she would grow The Something Blue Shoppe to be one of the most famous bridal stores in the Southeast. Attention to detail, a vast inventory of bridal gowns, and most importantly, ideal customer service bring brides from all over Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Kentucky, and indeed, from all corners of the United States, to shop in Hartselle. The Something Blue Shoppe enjoys the 2nd and now 3rd generation bride on a regular basis. Mothers want their daughters to have the same wonderful bridal shopping experience they enjoyed as a Something Blue Bride. Sarah travels to all US Bridal Markets, and has traveled to Harrogate, and London, England, for the European Bridal Markets, as well as The Netherlands, Paris, Germany, Ireland, Austria, Spain, and Belgium. These travels enable her to bring only the best merchandise to The Something Blue Shoppe When TJ Holmes joined the staff of The Something Blue Shoppe in 2013, he brought with him a wealth of knowledge about all things bridal and formal. Something Blue Brides know that if TJ is their stylist, they will be dressed to perfection. The story of The Something Blue Shoppe is on-going. Everyone who shops at Something Blue views it as the most special bridal boutique ever.
