You can watch the royal couple exchange vows live on the internet.
Not invited to the royal wedding? Don't fret – you can still watch the ceremony!
Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, Prince William and Kate Middleton's nuptials will be the first royal ceremony to be broadcast live on the internet, using streaming video to let viewers around the world watch the couple exchange vows. Plus, viewers can enjoy learning about the history of the wedding venue, as well as checking out the fashion choices of many of the wedding's elite attendees.
"Staff at Clarence House and St James's Palace will provide a live commentary with historical information, interesting links, additional photographs and video footage as well as an integrated Twitter feed," the palace said in a statement, according to Reuters.
The initiative is part of a recent undertaking by the royal family to update their image. Traditionally seen as out-of-touch with modern Britain, the royals are hoping that connecting with Brits via the internet will help bring about stronger ties.
