7 Fun Ways to Ask Your Girls to be Bridesmaids

Now that you’ve got the ring, it’s time to choose your girls. With us living in the age of social media, I’m sure you’ve seen many friends and family members who have shared the fun ways they’ve been asked to be in someones wedding. It’s no surprise that the ways of being asked are getting more and more creative with sites like Pinterest being around.

I wanted to share some creative ways for you to ask your girls to be bridesmaids. If you’re ready to put on that crafty-hat, then lets get to it!

1. The Bridesmaid Box
One thing I love about this idea is that you can make it your own. Do you and your bestie have a love for Sunday Brunch filled with mimosas? Throw a mini bottle of champagne in her box. Have an inside joke between a friend? Add something that will remind your bridesmaid of it. Does one of your bridesmaids have an obsession with fab jewelry? Add a bauble from her favorite shop inside. The possibilities on this option are endless.

2. Toast it up
If you’re friends are like mine, they will love a gift revolving around a good bottle of wine. I found these awesome wine labels that you can individually customize for each bridesmaid then add it to any bottle. Throw in a cute card (see below) and your girls are sure to say YES to standing beside you.

4. Surprise Shower
Sure the wedding is all about the love you and your fiancé share for one another and the commitment of becoming one, but why not focus some attention on your girls first. Host a party for your best girls and surprise them all by asking them to stand beside you. I love this idea from The Perfect Palette of a Kate Spade themed party. Talk about adorable!

5. Little Touches
Adding that little something can make all the difference, and make your proposal stand out amongst the rest. Take this adorable DIY box that features ban.do bobbi pins for example. It’s a cute way to ask and provides hair accessories that will remind your girls of you every time they use them.

6. Say it with a Sweet
Almost everyone loves a delicious sweet treat. Whether it be your girls have a love for chocolate, cupcakes or cookies, you can easily pick up (or make!) a treat to present your girls with. Take some of these ideas for example!

7. Bling it Out!
Jewelry is one fabulous way to pop the question to your closest girls, whether it is with one of these Kate Spade idiom bracelets or with a custom piece, they are sure to love it. You can even one up it by getting matching pieces for all your maids and ask that they wear them on your wedding day. Which is a win-win to us!

No matter how you ask, your girls are sure to say YES. For your best friends (and family) want to be a part of the most important day of your life.
