Choosing a photographer can be super easy or extremely difficult. Doing your homework when looking for a photographer consists of viewing their previous work to get a sense of their style and capabilities. You also want your personalities to work together as you will be spending most of the day with them. Explain what your expectations and wants before booking to make sure the photographer can accommodate. It’s important that the style of their previous work is in line with your photography style.
You’ll want to create a list of the photos that you want captured. Some of these include getting ready, the ceremony, and family group shots–but let’s not forget those jaw-dropping romantic photos! Gather together some ideas of the photos you want to plaster all over your house, so you make sure you get those stunning images to show the love you share between you and your spouse.
Many of the most treasured photos are moments that are sweet and unexpected–first looks, talking at the reception, or the emotion during the ceremony.
Some of these moments you just can’t plan for but you can make sure the photographer is looking for these moments to capture.
Try to focus on emotion shots like looking into each other’s eyes, first looks, and even quiet moments between the two of you.
