I know a lot of girls whose favorite color is pink. And they aren’t shy about it. Pink shoes, pink dress, pink lipstick, pink plastic jellies, pink EVERYTHING. But there comes a time when we have to grow up. Kind of. I mean there’s an adult way to add pink to your wedding, and it starts with the color blush.
Besides the rouge that you’ll add to your cheeks, the tint that you’ll have on your lips a great way to go girly as a bride? Don a dress that has just a hint of pink. Whether it’s in the tulle or the underlay, think white from afar but pink up close. That way you don’t end up replicating Sleeping Beauty.
And while you’re at it why not accessorize in pink. Rose gold is the best way to accomplish a sophisticated girly look, shoes and jewelry, and of course undergarments to match.
If you are going to go glam in your accessories, matching from head to toe but not in an obnoxious flannel and lace matching Christmas outfits kind of way, then you’ll want to make sure you get all of the pretties photographed. My suggestion, photograph them on your body and off. If you or a bridesmaid is setting up the goods for your photographer to capture make sure you set them where there is EXCELLENT lighting. Natural light will make your items look their very best, and that way you don’t have to feel miffed when they get moved to a better locale. Minnesota wedding venues always have at least one space that is perfect for taking detail pictures.
