“He’s My Other Half”

Recently Alabama bride Dora shared her wedding with Perfect Wedding Guide’s Head Over Heels blog.

It seems most women have a vision of their wedding from the time they are little girls and over time things change as they grow.

It sounds like that’s what happened to Dora:

I always knew growing up I would have this huge wedding with all my friends and family involved.

Well, as I grew up, my circle got smaller and my family all moved away. When I met Konnor I just knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.

I know its cliché to say “he’s my other half” but he really is.

Our love story is definitely not normal compared to most. We were together, we fell apart, then found our way back. We instantly knew we had to lock it down. Within a few short months, we found ourselves planning a wedding.

My dream of having a big wedding was actually the exact opposite of what I really wanted.

We ended up having a medium sized wedding, no official wedding party, no band or DJ. Just our close friends and family.

I loved every bit of it and it is a day that I will cherish forever.

Congratulations Dora and Konnor, thanks for sharing your wedding story with Perfect Wedding Guide and thank you for your service!
